The New Wattbike

The Wattbike has been developed with British Cycling's coaches and scientists to:

replicate the sensation of 'real' cycling
be the world's first factory calibrated indoor bike
deliver accurate and consistent performance feedback
provide technique feedback on force and power delivery.

The Wattbike Performance Computer is designed to be simple and intuitive to use. It is entirely menu driven and features ground-breaking software, which captures data up to 100 times per second, stores up to 850 minutes of information and offers real-time feedback across 29 different parameters for users, coaches and scientists.

It is really the brain of the bike and eclipses the range and quality of scientific data currently available and provides the first low cost, reliable medium for talent ID screening, monitoring and indoor training. It also opens up the prospect of the development of the sport of indoor cycling, as the Wattbikes can be linked together for racing.

The Performance Computer allows you to recall previous workouts, either from the console memory or from your Logcard and race against them. In addition, you can log and rank your training on the Wattbike World Ranking. You will have the capacity to download the performances of others and to race their data, all in the comfort of your own home.

The Wattbike also has a built in Peak Power Test accessed from the Wattbike Performance Computer.
